God's Hand touches Riverside

A recap of this past week.

Monday
Cutting to the chase, it's 10:30pm I'm just sharing my struggles on the phone with Sherei, a good friend from 'bama, while I sit in a parked car in front of a house full of KCMers. Sophomore Accountability usually concludes @ 10:30pm, and I'm faced with the options of jumping in at the end or turning around, driving away back to my house for yet another "christian" gathering at my place for prayer.

Yet a tug at my heart won't let me 180* and turn around. So I go in, and a powerful voice of prayer echoes to the heavens as God listens and smiles. After SA is done, and as typical Koreans do, everyons just lounging 'round, my phone rings and it's Glenn. I need to go back to my place for my prayer meeting! So in those 5 minutes that I'm at SA, I invite Jony for a time of prayer at my house.

Later on in the night, after much sharing between me and Glenn, Jony comes and I just share the truth of the Gospel with him. The love of God and the joy of dissecting the Word, God's glory disguised in words.
Backtrack to last Friday, in our Small Group Leaders' meeting, each week a leader teaches the rest of the group about the assigned reading of that particular week, so I went first and I put together a lengthy, meaty outline for 2 short chapters. I was quite discouraged after that Friday because it just felt like God was showing me that I was trying to teach on my own, that without Him my words fall on empty hearts, or my words are weak and cannot even penentrate the weakest of hearts. So I was very discouraged that Friday night (mostly because I guess it felt like no one cared about what I had to share, it just felt like they were listening because it was a part of the meeting).
Ok back to this week! So I'm meeting with Jony and Glenn and I just happen to have extra copies of the 6page outline, and with the leadership of the Spirit I just share the depth, width, height of God's love with them. And their tender hearts bear witness to the words that God clearly speaks through me. We end in prayer and we ask God for an anointed rain of fire to captivate our hearts and drench us with the passion for Christ.

Tuesday
Praise God, Jony calls me back and says that yesterday was a night of breakthrough for him, a turnaround point in his walk with God. From complacent "christian" to a lover of God. Oh how glorious is the Lord's work. His day is divinely planned from the seemingly bad things being transformed into blessings and the good things being even better than usual. Truly he now understands that the Word is as sweet as honey on his lips and he says "I can't contain the joy of the Lord inside of me! I just need to share it!"

Glorious. God breakthrough in Riverside. Begin with those who are weak and are ready to be free from the bondages of this world and sin. There is more, but I've been typing for a long time now, so I'll hopefully put the other stuff up later.

Actually jk I'll put the other stuff up now.

So now it's Thursday and I'm in KCM.
Backtrack, @ IHOP-KC, when trained IHOP Staff prophesied over me, there were two things they said on top of everything else, that I would "set the captives free" (which I feel like was part of what happened on Monday and also what happened with couple people at church) and that I had "clarity in the Word and I am able to translate the Bible into modern-day langauge for people when they don't understand". And also that many people would surround me calling me trustworthy and how important that trust is in this world and how it's hard to find in this world.
At the General Meeting, they introduce this new thing they are doing on campus starting next week called BYOB (Bring Your Own Bible) from 11am-2pm on campus to encourage bible reading at school. It would be a time of reading the Word with leaders there to answer questions about the Scriptures. So after the General Meeting & pastor Ronnie's message, Frank, a student-leader, comes up to me (now take into account that I've only been @ KCM for about 4 weeks now), and asks me if I could be there just to be able to help answer some questions @ one of the BYOB sessions!! And just the prophecies are being fulfilled now. God is so Glorious.

AHHHHHH!!!! I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE. HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT GOD IS NOT REAL! OH USA! OH CALIFORNIA! OH UCR! OH YOUNGNAK! WILL YOU AWAKEN FROM YOUR SLUMBER AND LISTEN TO THE GENTLE LOVING VOICE FROM GOD. OH IF YOU COULD ONLY SEE THAT HE LOVES YOU DEARLY AND HE WOULDN'T WANT YOU TO BE ANY DIFFERENT THAN HOW YOU ARE, BUT THE ONLY THING HE DESIRES IS FOR YOU TO BE WITH HIM! Oh, how glorious it would be to see that one day, all men, women, infants, babes, and all the world praise the name of the Worthy One.
