The Birth of a New Beginning

Met up with the Core last night on short notice and five showed up, praise the Lord. Went through some logistics for next quarter, and it looks very promising. After going through our growth plan and projects, Sarah, Glenn, Joe, and I went to the meditation room for a time of prayer and it broke into a time of intercession and worship. The Native Americans were conveniently adjacent to the meditation room banging on their drums and you could feel the spiritual warfare that was going on. We began to intercede for the campus, LGBT, Native Americans, local churches, and our campus.

As I was praying, I saw rain pouring over the belltower and then sun shining through after the cleansing, but in this particular image I expected the rainbow, which was a reminder of God's mercy after the great flood. Then as we were praying for LGBT, a revelation hit me. The rainbow that they so proudly wave is supposed to be a sign of God's mercy, and it was just ironic that the LGBT (almost a subtle manifestation of Sodom & Gomorrah) would be waving a flag of mercy. Still need to sort out my thoughts on that one, but yeah..

A little before our meeting, Reagan Miura called me and just encouraged me in a time where I needed much encouragement. He is truly a man of God. He also just passed on some divine ideas for the Core Growth, and we're going to take on the First Commandment Series by Mike Bickle.

However on an academia note, I epicly failed my midterm 2 for financial accounting. (or so I think, but sometimes I do really well when I think I failed so we'll see..)
