In my room, Becky and Tiffany ask about the things on my wall and begin to ask me questions about God. I begin to answer their questions of curiosity (contrasted to questions of evil to stump me). In the middle of it all, I debate with myself whether to ask God for a word or not to share the love of God with them.
Then in the bathroom, there God gives me a word of knowledge about Becky: something about her parents and her sister. At first it was just her sister and her mom & Taiwan, but then God gives me her dad. So I ask her about her dad, and she just shares that her dad has some sort of disease. Then I ask about her mom & sister.
At first, I don’t believe that she heard me, so then I ask again “Is there something about your mom & sister and Taiwan?” She begins to tear up and break down into tears sharing with me of how her mom and sister just got sick last weekend and how her mom was extremely ill and Becky only got to see her for only a little bit at the airport. She didn’t realize how much it meant to her.
The words that I spoke over her, she did not realize that it meant that much to her. God knows the things that are close to people’s hearts. She begins to pour out her heart to me. As she is sharing, she reveals that she feels alone at home and cannot connect with people and sometimes has a longing for intimate conversations even with people in the frat, but everyone that she is close to is away from home.
Then I begin to prophesy over her that there is a calling for her to be a missionary to people abroad, specifically: children, lost, and alone. Hopefully, she will soon give her life to Jesus, but the timing is impeccable. God is perfect. Victor and her best friend very recently have been devoting their lives to God.
Crazy thing is after all this, Becky shared how secretly she wanted a miracle to see if God was real the whole time. Through tears and a pouring of the heart, she definitely had a leap of faith and is thinking hard about giving her life to Jesus Christ. More to come soon… but there was an assurance in my heart a peace about her salvation. Amen and Amen.
God is incredible. Undeniably great and all-knowing.
